Luton Airport in Bedfordshire has begun consulting on a further options for a potential major expansion that could mean millions more passengers passing through it.
It comes after MPs backed controversial plans to build a third runway at London’s Heathrow airport.
London Luton Airport wants to increase passenger numbers from 16 million a year to 38 million by 2050. The options include the building of a second terminal.
The 10 week consultation includes a series of events where people can see the plans and speak to the project team. A final decision due in 2021.
